Celebs duke it out in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The gloves were on for a celebrity boxing match in Springfield on Friday.

The Celebrity Boxing Federation held an event at the Sheraton in downtown.

Headlining the card was disgraced former baseball player Jose Canseco. He took on local amateur boxer Todd Poulton.

Rodney King, the current celebrity boxing heavyweight champ went head to head with former basketball player Derek Macintosh.

Another celebrity on tonight's ticket was Slyvester Stallone's nephew Anthony, who told 22News why he's pumped to put on the gloves.

"I was ready to make my comeback in boxing due to a head injury that I received back in April. I'm ready now and I'm ready to knock somebody out."

Also on hand for event, the middle weight champion, celebrity Dad, Michael Lohan.
