CHARLEMONT, Mass. (WWLP) - Celebrating Father's Day turned into a community wide event for
one Franklin County Town Sunday.
Some people got together to put on Charlemont's second annual
Father's Day pancake breakfast at the town fairgrounds. The dads
who enjoyed all the pancakes they could eat courtesy of mom and
kids had a chance to reflect on what they mean to their families.
One father summed it up pretty well for 22News. "I thank God
my family is the way it is. I don't know what I did right, but
they're great, they're great, we all play we do everything
together," said Richard Howe of Buckland.
Charlemont families and their Franklin County neighbors held
their first Father's Day community breakfast last year. It's now
well on its way towards becoming a tradition.
