PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) - A fast-food fire forced two local families out into the cold on
Thursday night.
At about 6:30pm a fire broke out in a two family home on 3
Spring Street in the Bondsville section of Palmer.
Bondsville Fire Chief Schott Tustafson told 22News that a
family was cooking french fires when the oil got too hot and the
cabinets caught fire.
Chief Tustafson says the fire fighters battled the blaze
quickly, putting out the flames in less than ten minutes.
The two families who live in the home will be staying with
friends.
No one was injured.
