'Hot Table' restaurant opens downtown

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield's downtown Tower Square has a new restaurant.

The Hot Table restaurant opened on Monday. It features fast, casual dining.

The menu's signature is panini sandwiches, in addition to soups and salads.

The owners are John DeVoie, Chris Devoie and Don Watroba.

The success of their other Hot Table restaurant in Sixteen Acres influenced their decision of open another one in downtown.

"We saw a need here in downtown Springfield for some quality dining and this piece of real estate became available and we decided to open up here," said John Devoie, the co-owner of Hot Table.

Hot Table is located on the street level and will be open Monday through Saturdays.
