I-91 construction pushed back again

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The two closed on and off ramps on Interstate 91 in Springfield to Longhill Street should be re-opened by November 1. That's according to Don Gillette, of Northern Construction that is overseeing the project.

He told 22News that the original re-opening date of October 21 has been pushed back by rainy weather.

Work on the Route 5 ramp into Longmeadow, where traffic lanes have been reduced, is also scheduled to re-open by November 1 according to Gillette.
