Man injured in industrial accident

AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) - A man was seriously injured when he fell from a ladder inside an Agawam business on Monday morning.

Agawam Deputy Fire Chief Alan Sirois told 22News fire crews were called to the business at 50 Almgren Drive around 8:45 a.m. for reports of an employee that fell 15 to 20 feet off a ladder.

When they arrived, the male victim was unconscious and unresponsive with serious head injuries. He was taken to Baystate Medical Center, where his condition is unknown at this time.

The business, Sound Seal, had no comment about the accident.

Sound Seal is a company that manufactures sound proofing material.
