SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Governor will hold 36 town hall style forums throughout Massachusetts, but he will not visit Western Massachusetts.

The local forums will focus on budget issues.

With tax collections down, the state is facing billions of dollars less in revenue for fiscal year 2010.

Springfield political consultant, Tony Cignoli, says it might be a big mistake for the Governor to skip a visit to Western Massachusetts.

The forums start Monday, May 11th in Braintree.
