WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - President Barack Obama indirectly helps students do better in math at the Franklin Avenue Elementary School in Westfield.

On Wednesday dominoes became known as "Obaminoes." Third graders sharpened their math skills by preparing to fit the dominoes perfectly in place over a picture of the 44th President.

The children were quick to tell 22News, just how this fits in with their math lessons. "It helps you learn math because you're learning fractions," said 3rd grader Alexis Ayala.

The children are used more than 2 thousand dominoes to finish their project.
