CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Local students had the opportunity to climb a 24 foot high rock wall, thanks to McDonald's Active Achievers program.
Students say it gave them more than just exercise.
Victor Soto, a junior at Chicopee Comprehensive High, told 22News, "It helps with focus and determination and stamina. If you can time yourself as you go up, you can make it all the way."
Rae Lynn Houle, also a junior at Chicopee Comprehensive, added, "It was hard. You didn't expect it to be that hard, but it was really, really hard."
The McDonald's rock wall traveled to five different schools in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. This free program is offered to all schools.
