CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - 22News continues to focus on complicated area intersections that we call "Mean Streets."
The Willimansett section of Chicopee is the location where one viewer complains the cars don't stop for pedestrians and frequently ignore the "no right on red" sign.
It's the intersection of Chicopee Street and Prospect, where drivers have to really pay attention because of confusing signs, traffic lights and sometimes heavy traffic volume.
"They don't let anybody go through. If you wanna take a left or get off the road. Whatever. Then they only let three cars go by through the light. Then it's all backed up and nobody takes a right. Nobody takes a left. It's just bad," said Jim Morin of Chicopee.
Chicopee Police told 22News, the intersection has a lot of signals and signs to navigate, and the area becomes congested.
