Police investigate city's 16th murder

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield Police are now investigating the city's 16th murder of 2009.
Sergeant John Delaney told 22News, 24-year old Carmelo Adorno has died after being shot four times, once in the head early Saturday morning on Chapin Terrace.
Lieutenant Tom Kennedy says the murder appears to be drug related. The victim faced several drug charges over the past six years.
Kennedy told 22News that officers are working the case around the clock but so far have made no arrests.
