HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A late-night power outage in Holyoke caused trouble for one neighborhood.
It happened around 11 o'clock Saturday night in the area of Elmwood in Holyoke.
Sgt. Lostus told 22News that about seven to ten streets were without power.
Zoe Falken told 22News it was quite a sight. "There was a very large explosion fireball shot right up into the sky the transmitter apparently blew due to some balloons."
Another resident, Omar Allam said he was startled by the loud noise. "I was just like watching a show and then like boom!"
Power was restored Sunday morning for those homes.
