ERVING, Mass. (WWLP) - A jury today has found a second man guilty of setting an
abandoned Erving paper mill on fire.
John Rousseau was convicted on Tuesday morning in Worcester
County Superior Court.
Firefighters from 20 communities and three states battled
the blaze that ripped through the vacant Usher Paper Mill back in
July of 2007.
The Clinton man was also found guilty of setting fires in
Sterling, Holden, and at a railroad bungalow in the Berkshire
County town of Florida.
Rousseau's codefendant Michael Dreslinski was convicted on
October 20.
The two men are scheduled to be sentenced on November 23rd in
Worcester Superior Court.
