Slain Springfield mom laid to rest

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield's 17th murder victim of 2009 will be laid to rest this week.

Calling hours for Brittany Perez will be held on Monday from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the Puerta Del Cielo Funeral Home.

Funeral services are schedule on Tuesday 8:30am - 9:30am at the funeral home.

Following the funeral, a memorial mass will be held after at the Holy Family Parish.

She will be buried at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Perez was killed after being shot through her window last weekend.
