HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Holyoke Police arrested a man from Springfield early Friday
morning after a routine traffic stop. But to call the suspect a
repeat offender would be putting it mildly.
Twenty-eight year-old Pedro Cepeda was arraigned for the 77th
time Friday morning.
According to a news release from Holyoke Police Chief Anthony
Scott, Cepeda was pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign at
Hamilton Street and South Bridge Street.
Cepeda was then arrested for driving without a license and
the possession of heroin and marijuana. He was also wearing a
bulletproof vest.
Chief Scott describes Cepeda as career criminal with several
aliases and several convictions.
