SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Two Springfield police officers charged with stealing money out of the wallets of three men during a traffic stop were back in court on Thursday.

Leonardo Matos and Steven Buzzell sat motionlessly as two of the alleged victims told their side of the story.

Juan Carlos Gomez and Genaro Mendez claim the officers took almost $2,000 out of their wallets when they were pulled over last June.

The officers have pleaded not guilty to three counts of larceny each.

They were both suspended without pay.
