If your hitting the road for the holiday weekend you may run into a sobriety checkpoint.
State police will be out in force to spot drunk drivers and take them off the road.
State Police Superintendent Mark Delaney told 22News, police will be putting a sobriety checkpoint on a undisclosed highway here in the Bay State.
Delaney said the purpose of these checkpoints is to educate the public about the dangers of drunk driving, and to keep the highways safe.
