WARE, Mass. (WWLP) - A driver from the town of Hadley was killed early Sunday morning across from a cemetery on a main road in Ware.
Sgt. Kenneth Kovich of the Ware Police Department told 22News, 34-year-old Robert Russell of Hadley was the victim.
According to Sgt. Kovich, Russell lost control and his car flipped over on Route 9, Belchertown Road, across from the Holy Cross Cemetery.
The car landed on a driveway with Russell trapped inside.
Sgt. Kovich told 22News, Russell died before an ambulance could transport him to the hospital.
