(WWLP) - Westfield residents lined up on North Elm Street today to pay tribute to those who have fought for our country.

Different community groups marched in today's Memorial Day parade. Marchers of all ages told 22News how important it is to honor our heroes.

In Southwick, more marchers were out showing their support for our servicemen and women. That town held its parade that ended at the new cemetery where a service was held.
