HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - On Friday the Holyoke Women, Infant and Children's program, also
known as WIC taught parents and youngsters how to lead a healthy
lifestyle by including plenty of fruits and veggies in their diet.
WIC also provides a monthly food supply for those with low income.
Trinidad Sanchez is a single mother of six and said she
wouldn't be able to put food on the table without this program.
"WIC makes sure my home always has a meal. They always ask
you what they can do for you, how they can help you and your
family. I don't know what I'd do without them. they are the best
thing that ever happened to me and my family," said Trinidad
Sanchez of Holyoke.
Every year WIC provides food for over 3,000 people in
