KEENE, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire and Vermont authorities have arrested two local men from Springfield and Holyoke, at a Keene, N.H., hotel on drug charges following a monthlong investigation into the trafficking of crack-cocaine.
Police say 22-year-old Orlando Rodriguez of Springfield, Mass., and 21-yera-old Dexter Thaxton of Holyoke, Mass., were arrested Thursday night at a local motel.
Rodriguez and Thaxton have been charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute.
Thaxton also has been charged with sale of a controlled drug, all felonies.
The two were to be brought before the Keene District Court on Friday.
