CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Shopping online and then having your groceries delivered can save you time and sometimes money. It's a hot trend in big cities. But, here in Western Massachusetts, it's not that popular.
Local consumers we spoke with told 22News that they like shopping in stores because they can see, touch, and smell the products. They know what they're buying. Also, many local grocery stores either do not offer online shopping or do not deliver to this area.
But www.Amazon.com does ship to Western Massachusetts. They sell everything, including food. Additionally, if you spend more than $25, shipping is free. Amazon also help you save money on things you use all the time by allowing you to subscribe to certain products. When you subscribe to a product, you always get a fifteen percent discount on it and it's shipped to you for free in intervals of your choosing.
If you still prefer shopping in store, you can use the internet to help you save money before you go to the store. Websites like www.coupons.com provide over a hundred coupons for groceries everyday. Also, you can check out sale flyers for most local grocery stores on their website. By scooping out the sales before you go, you'll hone in on the deals.
