Machete man stops burglar

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. (WBBH) - He may be 75-years-old, but Francisco Garcia wasn't afraid to grab his machete and fight off a burglar who was breaking into his Lehigh Acres, Florida home.

Garcia says he grabbed his machete when he heard a crook trying to get into his house.

The burglar first tried knocking on the front door and when Garcia didn't open it - deputies say he kicked it in.

At that point, the great-grandfather ran to get his machete and confronted the suspect.
