March Madness affect work productivity?

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - March Madness is here, which means some of your fellow co-workers may be a bit distracted for the time being.

Millions of Americans participate each year are in office pools and start filling out their brackets in hopes of a big payout.
 
Technology is only making it ‘easier’ for employees to constantly check the scores on their cell phones and computers.

Juan Gonzalez of Holyoke told 22News, “The productivity level at work, at school, everywhere goes down because they're so focused on the brackets.”
  
A new survey from "couponcabin.com" says one third of Americans will bet more money on this basketball conference tournament, than they did on the Super Bowl.
