FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) - One person is in custody and another on the loose following a drug raid in Fall River.

Last week, officials executed a warrant at Storage Pros on Father DeValles Blvd., where they found two containers with a total of 2,335 bags of heroin, $460 in cash, and a variety of items associated with packaging and distribution drugs.

Arrest warrants were issued for Meagan Cote, 34, and Aaron Mello, 25, both of Fall River. Cote turned herself in to police on Monday. She is charged with trafficking heroin over 36 grams, trafficking a Class A drug in a school zone, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Mello remains at large. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the Fall River Police Department Vice & Intelligence Unit at 508-324-2803. Information can also be called into the anonymous TIPS line at 508-672-TIPS (8477).
