PELHAM, N.H. (AP) - A fireworks explosion has set a New Hampshire home ablaze and filled it with smoke, injuring at least nine people.
Police say when they arrived Tuesday night there were lots of fireworks in and around the home in Pelham, a town of about 13,000 residents an hour drive south of Concord. They say their initial report was that fireworks had blown up in the home.
Firefighters put out the blaze.
Police say the nine injured people range in age from infant to adult. They say two children have been taken to Boston hospitals for treatment.
Neighbor Richard Souza says the people who live in the home set off fireworks every year. He says there seemed like a lot of fireworks going off and soon after fire trucks roared into the neighborhood.
