MGC meets in Boston to discuss casino plans

BOSTON, Mass. (WWLP) - The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is schedule to meet Tuesday in Boston to discuss the city's process for picking a casino.
Commissioners are expected to discuss the status regarding the city of Springfield's proposed schedule and process to identify potential gaming applicants.
James Ferrara says, “The state's process and the city's process need to mirror each other so that it can be successful with regards to time frames, with investigations and background checks of companies. “
The meeting will be open to the public and will be available to watch on a live stream.
