STONEHAM, Mass. (WWLP) - State Police assigned to the Bomb Squad and the Fire Investigation Unit in the Office of the State Fire Marshal responded to a vehicle explosion Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of BJ's Wholesale on Cedar Street in Stoneham.

The cause of the explosion, which caused no injuries, is an accidental vapor explosion.

Investigators have determined that use of a remote unlocking device ignited vapors from plumber's equipment inside the vehicle.

Several other vehicles suffered minor damage.
