BOSTON (WWLP) - Massachusetts electors are casting ballots Monday for President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.

The ceremony at 3:00 P.M. at the State House makes the President’s re-election official.  It will be a scene that will take place in every state.

Candy Glazer, Chair of the Longmeadow Democratic Town Committee is one of the 11 electors for Massachusetts. She has also been selected to announce the official vote tally after the ballots are cast.

Bishop Bryant Robinson, Pastor of the Macedonia Church of God in Christ in Springfield, will give the invocation at the Electoral College ceremony.

Robinson’s church was set on fire by arsonists on the night of President Obama’s election in 2008.

Nationwide this year, Obama won 332 electoral votes to 206 for Republican Presidential nominee, Mitt Romney.
