BOSTON (WWLP) - Two fallen police officers from Western Massachusetts were honored at Thursday night's Red Sox game at Fenway.

Photos paying tribute to Westfield Officer Jose Torres and Springfield Officer Kevin Ambrose were displayed on the electronic billboard under the John Hancock sign before the game.

Officer Torres was killed July 26th after he was struck by a dump truck while working a construction detail.

Officer Ambrose was shot and killed June 4th while answering a call for a domestic distrubance.  Kevin Ambrose's son threw out the first pitch.
