PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) - The Red Cross is helping a Palmer family after an overnight apartment fire.     

Firefighters were called to 4215 High Street in the Thorndyke section around 2:30 a.m.  

Palmer Police Sgt. Erin Sullivan told 22News firefighters caught the fire early, limiting damage to the 4-unit building.
