WINCHESTER, Mass. (AP) - The Massachusetts man who died in the attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya last week is being laid to rest.
A funeral Mass for Glen Doherty was held Wednesday morning at St. Eulalia Church in his hometown of Winchester.
The 42-year-old Doherty is a former Navy SEAL who was working as a private security contractor at the consulate when he and three other Americans were killed Sept. 11.
Hundreds of mourners including Gov. Deval Patrick attended a wake on Tuesday.
Flags lined his family's neighborhood in Woburn and were placed along his funeral route in Winchester.
