KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine (AP) - Police in Kennebunkport, Maine, are searching for two young men who haven't been seen since early Thursday morning.

Police say 21-year-old Zachary Wells, of Burlington, VT., and 23-year-old Prescott Wright, of Barnstable, Mass., were last seen while drinking beer with a small group of friends at Wells' Mills Road residence. Wells and Wright are students at The Landing School, a boat building and yacht design school in Arundel.

Police Chief Craig Sanford said another resident in Wells' home came downstairs at about 4 a.m. Thursday and discovered them missing.

Sanford said there were no signs of a disturbance at the house, and that searches of ocean waters, roadsides and marshes have failed to turn up any clues.

He said the disappearance is one of the strangest cases he's seen.
