BOSTON (WWLP) - A dispute has already developed between the House and Senate over where to send gun control legislation filed by Gov. Patrick last week.
The bill needs to be reviewed by a committee before it can reach the next step in the process; a public hearing.
But lawmakers have been unable to agree on which committee will get the bill.
Gov. Patrick says his gun control legislation will close loopholes in Massachusetts' existing laws, while strengthening mental health services.
