Massachusetts Lottery announced recall

Boston, Mass (WWLP) - The Massachusetts Lottery announced it is recalling all tickets in its $5 Double Platinum Payday instant game.

The lottery says Ticket makers distributed duplicate tickets and incorrectly bundled the game cards.

They say the problems occurred in the ticket cutting and packaging process, leading to an incorrect number of tickets being inserted into several books.

Thirty percent of the game's tickets have been released since it was launched June 12.

Lottery officials said they would pay all prizes for tickets already sold.
