CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - You may have noticed your mail box was empty this weekend.

That's because the Postal Service had suspended service due to the snowstorm.

There's no guarantee of Monday mail delivery either.

Christine Dugas, a spokesperson for the Postal Service said Sunday that the mail will be delivered where it's safe to do so.

She pointed out that some roads in rural areas just aren't passable.

It wasn't just in Massachusetts where mail service was suspended, there was no mail Saturday anywhere in New England.
