State Police searching for missing 2 year-old Caleigh Anne Harrison

ROCKPORT, Mass. (WWLP) - State police are using a helicopter in their search for a two-year old girl from the North Shore who is missing.

State troopers and Rockport police are looking to find Caleigh Anne Harrison. Our Boston sister station, WHDH-TV, reports that Harrison disappeared around noon time at Long Beach. Rockport's police chief told WHDH that the girl was at the beach with her mother. When her mother went to pick up a ball, she turned around and the girl was gone.

Harrison, who is two years and nine months old, was last seen wearing a light pink tee shirt and dark pink Capri pants. She has light brown hair and blue-gray eyes. Her height and weight are not immediately available.

State police have not released any additional details about her disappearance at this time.

Anyone who has seen the girl or has an idea of where she may be should call 9-1-1 immediately.

Rockport is located at the end of Cape Ann, just east of Gloucester.
