Alleged tanning bed peeper in court

BARNSTABLE, Mass. (WHDH) - A Massachusetts man arrested for secretly videotaping young girls with his cell phone while they were tanning was silent as he left court Monday morning.

Police said the pictures on Luis Macedo's cell phone provide plenty of evidence for what he's accused of doing inside a tanning salon in Barnstable. Macedo, 47, worked part time at Sunsational Tanning in Hyannis.

"He does have images, probably somewhere around 21 images of people that he secretly videotaped while they were in the booths," said Sergeant Sean Sweeney, Barnstable Police Dept.

Police said they were tipped off by a 29-year-old customer who spotted a lens while she was tanning.
