MILFORD, Mass. (WHDH) - Massachusetts police say an armed man walked into a Milford gas station Wednesday night, demanded money then allegedly fired a gun.

Surveillance cameras captured the man entering the store at about 7 p.m.

The man reportedly fired the weapon at the men's bathroom door when the clerk refused to give him the money. The clerk, one of three employees on duty, then led the suspect into a service garage where police say the robber held the clerk and two customers at gun point.

The man then fired again, hitting a nearby oxygen tank. At one point he threatened to shoot one of the other employees if he didn't get all the money.

"There were two people in the bay with some mechanic. He had the two people stand still while he held the gun towards them. And then he told mechanic, 'Give me all your money,'" said Karen Kaye, gas station manager.
