BOSTON (WWLP) - It was Truck Day at Fenway on Tuesday.

Fans braved the chill and lined up outside Fenway Park to watch the Red Sox equipment truck be loaded up for its annual trip to Fort Myers, Florida.

Truck Day has been the unofficial start of spring training for 16 years, and fans are eager for a fresh start after last season's 69-93 campaign.

The truck should arrive in the Sunshine State Thursday afternoon.

Pitchers and catchers report Sunday.
