Snow did help with one drug arrest

BOSTON, Mass. (WWLP) - It seems most drivers abided by Gov. Patrick's 24 hour driving ban during last week's blizzard.

State Police spokesman Dave Procopio says troopers issued a few warnings, gave three citations, and one criminal complaint.

Procopio says no one was arrested for violating the order, although the penalty for violating an executive order can be up to a year of imprisonment.

The snow did help in making one arrest on Interstate 391.

Procopio says an abandoned car was found with baggies of cocaine, and the driver was later arrested by Chicopee Police.
