WNEU poll finds Obama has double-digit lead in Massachusetts

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Here in Massachusetts, President Barack Obama leads Republican Candidate Mitt Romney by 18 percent. But according to the Western New England University Polling Institute, Romney has whittled down the previous 30 percent lead.

Polling Institute Director Tim Vercellotti believes Romney narrowed the gap by appealing to more moderate voters.
