BOSTON (AP) - A month late, Gov. Deval Patrick has scheduled his economic
summit.
A meeting between state, business and federal officials will
occur on Oct. 27 at the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston. Patrick
announced the summit in August and originally said it would be held
in late September or early October.
The day-long summit will focus on ways to promote long-term
economic recovery and job growth throughout the state.
Patrick said in a statement Wednesday the meeting will
include representatives from every corner of the state "to make the
most of our recovery and assure that no one is left behind."
