Two Massachusetts men have now officially been charged with robbing a Connecticut bank, leading to a police chase and shots fired.
Forty-four-year-old Brendan McGarrett, of Springfield and 35-year-old Richard Gordon of Winthrop have both been charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree larceny and conspiracy.
A judge Wednesday ordered McGarrett held on $2 million bond. Gordon was in court Tuesday and his bond is also $2 million.
McGarrett is also facing charges for leading police on a high-speed chase firing upon them and holding an elderly woman hostage on June 2 stemming from the June 2 heist in Bristol.
Gordon has previously been charged with interfering with a police officer.
