JEFFERSON, Maine (AP) - The Maine Warden Service is continuing its search for a
20-year-old Massachusetts man who fell from a canoe while fishing
on a central Maine lake.
Officials said the canoe with two Massachusetts men capsized
Sunday evening on Damariscotta Lake in Jefferson.
One man and a dog made it safely to shore, but when he
returned to the canoe his friend couldn't be found.
The Maine Warden Service, the Bristol Fire Department's dive
team and others searched for the man Sunday night. The warden
service said its dive team would resume the search Monday.
Officials have not released the name of the missing man.
