BARNSTABLE, Mass. (AP) - A former girls junior varsity soccer coach and teaching assistant has been indicted on child rape charges.
The Cape Cod Times reports Monday that 22-year-old Stephen Weixler was charged with two counts of rape, as well as dissemination of harmful matter and procuring alcohol for a minor.
His Superior Court arraignment has not been scheduled.
Weixler was fired from Mashpee High School after the charges were brought in March.
Authorities say he had an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old student.
He pleaded not guilty at his district court arraignment.
