BOSTON (WWLP) - Governor Patrick is preparing to run for a second term.
The Governor is making plans to sit down with his top
political supporters to weigh some of his biggest political
decisions and readies for a re-election campaign next year.
The Massachusetts Democrat will be meeting with his team
early next week.
22News asked local residents if they would vote for him in
2010. "I think he's been doing a solid job. I think the cards
have been stacked against him given the economy and the revenue
issues in the state," said Jesse Lytel of South Hadley.
"I think he's put all his eggs in one basket with casinos and
now that's not going through, the state is in a dire situation,"
explained Agawam resident Aimee Ellis.
This comes as the governor considers signing the
transportation and ethics overhaul bills, as well as the 2010
budget.
