GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Greenfield Middle School most of all. Parents say cars drive very fast on Federal Street even though students are crossing the Street.
Parents say its a problem despite crossing guards and a crosswalk.
Some are asking for to make the road a school zone with yellow blinking light, and special speed limit. They just want cars to be on the lookout.
'I'd like to see what other towns do a flashing light or a school zone, certain times when people slow down and watch for children," said Timm Phillips of Greenfield.
School gets out as late as 3:45 p.m., a high traffic time on Federal Street.
