AKRON, Ohio (WKYC) - An Ohio jury has convicted accused "Craigslist Killer" Richard Beaseley of murder.
Beasley faced 26 criminal charges, including the murder of three men, the attempted murder of a fourth, and theft and identity fraud.
Prosecutors say he used phony Craigslist ads to lure his victims to a remote farm in Noble County, Ohio.
Prosecutors said Beasley and Brogan Rafferty used the job postings as bait in a robbery plot aimed at down-on-their-luck victims with few family ties that might highlight their disappearance.
Beasley's teenage co-defendant Brogan Rafferty, too young to face the death penalty, was convicted in late 2012 and sentenced to life in prison without chance of parole.
