SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The man police say is responsible for Friday's double murder suicide in Wyoming, used to live in Springfield.

Connecticut police searched 25-year-old Christopher Krumm's Vernon apartment after he traveled to Wyoming and killed two people, including his own father.

He first stabbed 42-year-old Heidi Arnold, then went to Casper College and used a bow and arrow to kill his father James Krumm who is an instructor there.

Christopher Krumm then stabbed himself with a knife and died shortly afterward.

Heidi Arnold and James Krumm lived together.

Vernon Police Sgt. Timothy O'Connor said whatever was recovered in the search of the younger Krumm's home was turned over to Wyoming investigators.
